Instance Replacer FREE
Quickly replace selected objects with clean instances.
This lightweight tool lets you replace any selected objects in your scene with a linked instance of the active object. It’s ideal for quickly populating environments or standardizing asset placement with minimal effort.
✅ Features:
🔁 Replace with Instance
Simply select multiple objects, make the last one your source (active object), and with one click, replace all others with instances of that source.
🧭 Preserves position, rotation, and scale
Each instance keeps the exact transform of the object it replaces.
💡 Perfect for modular workflows
Use it in asset layout, environment design, or kitbashing where you want to swap placeholders with real assets.
No clutter. No settings. Just fast, reliable replacements.
Instance Replacer PRO
Replace selected objects with smarter, more flexible instancing.
Instance Replacer PRO lets you take any selected objects and replace them with copies (instances) of the active object — with fine control over how each instance behaves.
✨ Features (Explained):
🔁 Replace with Instance
Replace each selected object with a clean instance of the active one. Keeps original position, rotation, and scale exactly.
🎲 Replace with Random Scale
Like above, but adds a unique random scale to each instance. Customize the range of scale variation for X, Y, and Z axes individually.
🧭 Keep Original Rotation
By default, new instances match the rotation of the source object. Enable this option to keep the original rotation of each replaced object instead.
🗂 Preserve Collection
New instances are placed into the active collection. Enable this to insert each one into the same collection(s) the original object belonged to.
🎨 Use Source Materials
Keep the materials assigned to the source (active) object, or retain the materials of each replaced object. Toggle freely.
🧪 Preview Mode
Want to see the results before committing? Enable preview mode to test replacements without deleting anything. Then click “Apply Preview” if you’re satisfied.
🔤 Auto-Rename Instances
Automatically name your new instances with a base name and incremental numbers, e.g. Chair_001, Chair_002, etc.
